Sumer Strawbree Back to School Art Competition

Sumer Strawbree is holding a Back to School art competition inviting kids ages 4-12 to submit a coloring page from her new children’s picture book “Black, Brown, Beautiful, Bullied”!

*Coloring pages received without a submitted Entry form will not be judged.

You may use crayons, colored pencils, or markers, or any combination thereof.

You must take a clear picture of the finished piece and email to iam@sumerstrawbree.com  

Be sure to lay the finished coloring page flat and in a well-lit area. Dark images may not showcase your talent, but take away from it.

It will be judged on neatness, creativity and effort.

SUBMISSION DATES:

Now through Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.

WINNERS:

First, Second, and Third place coloring pages will be selected from the age groups 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. All winners will be required to submit a picture of themselves with their winning coloring page.

PRIZES:

• Winners will be contacted by September 9, 2023, 5 PM Eastern Standard Time.
• First-place winners receive a FREE digital copy of “Black, Brown, Beautiful, Bullied” and a FREE Personalized Digital Affirmations Poster and a 10-minute Zoom Call with Sumer Strawbree.
• Second-place winners receive a FREE digital copy of “Black, Brown, Beautiful, Bullied” and a FREE Personalized Digital Affirmations Poster.
• Third-place winners receive a FREE Personalized Digital Affirmations Poster.

Rules and Eligibility:

• Must reside in one of the 50 states and not in the U.S. territories. The deadline is Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time. 
• Coloring pages must be emailed to iam@sumerstrawbree.com before September 1, 2023 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.
• There are three age categories for the contest.
• Ages 4-6 years old
• Ages 7-9 years old
• Ages 10-12 years old

• One entry is allowed per person.

• By entering the contest, the Parent/Guardian gives permission for SumerStrawbree Publishing, LLC to use images of the coloring page on its website, social media, print media and video
• Entries will be judged on neatness, creativity and effort.
• Entries will be displayed on the Sumer Strawbree Facebook and Instagram pages.

• Participants must complete the Entry Form for entries to be valid in the contest.
• If you win your Parent/Guardian agrees to take a picture of you with your winning coloring page and email to pr@sumerstrawbree.com
• Must get parent or guardian permission to enter the contest.
